# Similarity search 속도 개선방법
- Compression- Scalar Quantization (SQ)
= Vector 압축 (메모리 작게, 정보손실 크게 함)
- Pruning- InvertedFile (IVF)
= Search space 줄여서, dataset의 subset cluster만 방문하여 search 속도 개선
## 피드백
혼자 생각할 때는 넘겨짚는 부분이 많았는데, 협업을 하니 다시 한 번 생각해볼 수 있는 것들이 많은 것 같다.
조금 더 곰곰히 생각하고 정리하는 연습이 필요할 것 같다.
멘토링으로 text data 가 BN에 유효할까요 질문을 했었는데, 관련해서 '왜 안좋은지에 대한 연구'와 그래서 유효한 Layer Normalization 에 대해 피드백을 받았다. 이거 좀 정리하고 가야겠다.
